FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Because we enjoy helping smart people from outside the United States do well in the highly competitive marketplace, we have certification in TESOL (Teaching English as Second or Other Language). We also constantly refresh our skill sets with advanced English grammar courses, creative fiction (both literary and colloquial) instruction, and most recently, script-writing for Hollywood. No job is too challenging, and we've had successes in all genre!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
This vocation started when I realized that I'd been coaching my peers in firms and corporate offices without even knowing it. When a friend heading an executive office overseas insisted that I be her "life coach," I decided to take the dive. Later, a professional life coach (who had been my client) agreed that my skill set and temperament are ideal for this role. My advantage is that I provide a specially-tailored assortment writing, editing, and presentation services. When advisable, I travel to meet with clients (for additional fees, of course).
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We are great at editing first or second drafts of everything from business letters to novels. We're also adept at preparing knock-out resumes. For premium pricing, we can turn around comments on pieces of less than 1,200 words in less than twenty-four hours. We also write newspaper and magazine articles, interview celebrities, and provide web content based on client-provided or our own research (which, again, comes at a premium).
