I hired this company to do a 5x10 buildout off my kitchen. I gave a deposit and they started on the foundation. Instead of hiring out a concrete contractor, the work was started and never completed, and they never came back. Didn’t know how to proceed, so we called for a foundation inspection, which failed, but the inspector told us what was required. We completed all the work ourselves, and was out cash from the deposit, which was not returned. Ended up filing suit in small claims court, and won the judgement. Still haven’t been paid back to date. Get a written contact and don’t give money up front.
