About
I have been playing guitar for about 6 years now and it has been a tremendous joy in my life. The first genre of music that I studied with was the blues, but since then I have worked in jazz, rock, and classical music. Currently I am a sophomore Classical Guitar Major at Oklahoma City University, and plan on becoming a full-time Music Teacher once my schooling is finished. I am also in a successful rock band outside of school, so I am very proficient in both acoustic and electric guitar. Studying with me will also give you access to all masterclasses, ensembles, lectures, conventions, concerts and more, held at OCU. This will help the student tremendously because they will be immersed in a world full of musical knowledge gathered by guitarists from all over the world. I love teaching and watching others grow the same passion that I have for the guitar.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge $20 dollars for a 30 minute lesson. You can choose to either pay every week, or at the end of the month. If any other kind of plan is needed then I would be more than happy to work with you in anyway that I can.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have studied with various artists, such as Matthew Denman, Lynn McGrath, Lazhar Cherouana, and Los Romeros. This has shown me a wide variety of teaching methods and techniques that I can pass down to my own students.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently I travelled to Madrid, Spain with other students from OCU to perform in the Madrid Chamber Arts Festival. We spent two weeks in Madrid and played at different venues every night including The Ateneo, Museo de America, The Cultural Center de Barajas and many more. It was an amazing experience and a great chance to meet many other musicians and to perform for a wide variety of music lovers.
