- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My journey has been an interesting one. I went to college for 3 semesters majoring in both Physics and Music and then I was an assistant teacher in early childhood education for 3 years, where I was able to receive college credits in child psychology and a lot of training as a teacher. This helped me to expand my thinking on how to clearly communicate with people and meet them where they are at, which is one of the most important elements as a teacher. Today, I am part of the G4 Guitar School Network along with 60 other schools and we are constantly undergoing training as teachers and in business so that you have the utmost professional and quality experience with us!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became a guitar teacher in a very natural way. I have been playing for 16 years and ever since I started playing, there was always a friend wanting me to show them. Little by little I gained students, word spread and I developed my method and teaching strategies and then adopted the best curriculum that I could find, The G4 Guitar Method!
