Hired Travis, to repair a squeek, on one of the bedroom floor, he found the problem, also told him I needed to paint the room but needed the floor repair first, he told me he could paint it and my carpet needed to be clean, he said he could do that also,. Wow nice to hire a handyman, so far he repaired the floor , and has painted, doing a good job, will be cleaning the carpet later. I will hire him in the future for other projects. Thank you Travis.

Jeff does a great job with my lawn. Always arrives when he is supposed to and his quotes are spot on. Unlike a bunch of the other guys he does not try to upsale you products and services that you don't need. He is reliable fast and friendly. He is the only lawn and pest control service that I would use in the Oklahoma City area.

He went above and beyond the call of duty. All bushes look great and the trees and bushes I needed cut back, all look wonderful and he hauled off all the cutoffs. He made sure to get the branch laying over the fence into my neighbors yard (AWESOME!) and They cleaned up the area better than they found it. If I ever need a lawn professional in the future I will reach out to Pierce Services.

"You've got one less thing to worry about." We have years of experience and tons of satisfied recurring clients whom I can use as referrals, if needed. We use only all-natural, organic cleaning products that not only work great but smell great, too. You get a peace of mind with the fact that we are fully insured with a 1,000,000 dollar general liability policy. One-time only, weekly, biweekly, and monthly cleanings are available. Initial thorough cleaning is done one time only or is done the first time in cleanings. They are more expensive because it is a very thorough and detailed clean of the entire house, cleaning spots that haven't been cleaned in years. This process usually takes 5 to 6 hours, depending on the size and condition of the home. It initially takes a lot longer than the maintenance cleanings that will follow. Everything done in an initial thorough cleaning is done on an as-needed basis thereafter, at no additional cost to you. Initial thorough cleanings include everything on our maintenance cleaning list, plus the following extras: - Wet clean all baseboards - Wet clean all windowsills - Wet clean all doors and door frames - Wet clean all switch plates - Clean kitchen and bathroom cabinet facings - Remove books from bookshelves and clean - Wash all wall hangings with glass cleaner - Dust all lampshades - Vacuum under all necessary beds and furniture (If accessible) - Vacuum cushions and remove to clean underneath - Clean top of refrigerator - Dust all bottoms and sides of furniture - Dust all light fixtures - Clean all knickknacks, picture frames, back of picture frames (frames that are on shelves, etc.) - Clean sliding glass doors and prints from window glass Maintenance Cleaning: Maintenance cleaning is done after your initial thorough cleaning. Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How often should carpets be steam cleaned?

Dirty carpets can be unhealthy for the people living in the home, particularly those who have allergies, so it’s important to have them cleaned regularly; simply vacuuming once or twice a week isn’t enough. Carpet cleaning should be done by a professional carpet cleaning service at least once a year to remove grime and help extend the life of your carpet. Most carpet manufacturers recommend professional steam cleaning, which penetrates deep into the carpet fibers and lifts out both dirt and the pollutants that get tracked inside. Steam cleaning also removes most of the moisture, so carpets dry quickly enough for homeowners to resume using them the same day. Between professional carpet cleanings, your carpet may need an emergency spot cleaning. Pet accidents, food or drink spills, and more can often be effectively cleaned with some water and a drop of white vinegar, although many cleaners will also make house calls for smaller spills and hard-to-clean spots like wine or grease stains.

How do you find a good carpet cleaning company?

Regular professional carpet cleaning can both extend the life of your carpet and remove harmful pollutants from your home. Finding a good carpet cleaning company is an important aspect of home maintenance. When choosing a carpet cleaner, consider these top three questions:

  • What method of carpet cleaning do you prefer? Steam cleaning is an increasingly popular method because it’s thorough and safe, and dries quickly enough for you to return to your home the same day the carpets are cleaned.
  • Have you checked the company’s references? Most cities are home to several carpet cleaning companies, so it’s a good idea to check their reviews and references. Look for references from people in your neighborhood with homes similar to yours.
  • What’s included in the base price? What other services does the carpet cleaning company offer? Some companies will move furniture for you, while others charge a fee for it. Some include stairs in the cost of the home’s cleaning, while others charge per step.

What does carpet cleaning cost?

National average carpet cleaning prices range between $100 and $130. Carpet cleaning prices depend on how many square feet of carpet you want cleaned, how many rooms in one house or building will be cleaned, how stained your carpet is, how much the carpet cleaning company charges, your ZIP code, and the type of carpet you have. Cost per square foot can range from 20 cents to $1 or more, based on the above variables. Synthetic carpets are typically the least expensive to clean; natural fibers like wool cost more, as they require more care and attention, as well as more drying time. Excessive stains, challenging locations such as stairs, and accessibility also factor into your carpet cleaning price. Companies may charge a minimum service fee for cleaning a small carpet to cover their business expenses (paying employees, transporting the special equipment to your home). If your pet has repeatedly saturated the carpet with urine or if the fibers are extremely matted down, it may make more sense to completely replace your carpet than to continue to have it cleaned.

How much does it cost to clean a carpet?

Carpet cleaning costs vary depending on the type of cleaning, such as steam cleaning, and whether there are any stains that require special treatment. The main cost factors are the square footage of the carpet and the material it’s made from. The national average carpet cleaning price ranges from $100 to $130 for a typical suburban home, but steam cleaning prices start at an average of $120. In general, professional carpet cleaning ranges from an average of 20 cents to 50 cents per square foot, depending on where you live. Many companies have a minimum fee or room requirement — such as two rooms for an average of $40 each — and will charge more to clean carpeted stairs or a second floor. Finally, the carpet fiber type, density and pile will also affect the cost of cleaning; man-made fibers are stain-resistant and easier to clean, while wool carpeting is sensitive to water and requires more care.

How much does steam cleaning a carpet cost?

Several factors determine the cost of professional carpet cleaning, from the number of rooms in the home to additional carpeted areas to the products used to lift stains. The national average cost to steam clean a carpet ranges from $100 to $130. Most professional carpet cleaning companies’ rates are based on the number of rooms they clean, starting at an average base rate of $30 per room or $55 for two standard rooms and a hallway. Larger rooms may be charged as two rooms or incur a square footage fee. Carpet cleaners often charge by the step to clean a stairway as well as additional fees for closets and hallways; for example, some charge an average of $5 per step. Expect extra fees, starting at an average of $15 per stain, for lifting difficult food, pet or oil stains from carpets. Some carpet cleaning companies offer package deals to also clean furniture and throw rugs while in the home; a chair usually costs an average of $70 to be steam cleaned, and a couch costs an average of $100.
