Sadly, an appointment was made and confirmed via email for today, but no one came or contacted me. Perhaps there was some sort of booking error I am unaware of. It kind of makes trusting Thumbtack hard. I tried calling, but no one answered a Google number. I do hope it was some sort of technical error. But my dryer does need to be fixed. March 26, 2024. So it would seem that the mistake was mine, putting down the wrong "am" instead of "pm" for an appointment. Also, I missed a phone call from them on Saturday. Even though it was my mistake, the company chose to not only schedule me an appointment but also waive the $49 service fee. The young man who came was very polite and thorough. Sadly, the dryer required a new motor, which was cost-prohibitive to get fixed.
