FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
doing repair work sometimes it's hard to bid because there's so much you can't see so I generally work by the hour at $30 an hour but if it's cut and dried and you can see exactly what you need to do I will give a bit on certain jobs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet a customer and see the job in person. it's much easier to give a price when you can see the entire scope of the job and not just a few pictures.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a high school education with some college but everything that I have learned about construction I have learned on the job doing the work. from remodeling 100 year old apartments Custom Trim in 5000 square foot homes in South Tulsa. Worked for thermal windows for several years back in the eighties. Started working in the window business for my father's company in Michigan when I was just 12 years old, I have framed houses in South Tulsa for many years, remodeled hundreds of homes for many different companies over the past 30 years everything I have learned has been on the job. Insulated houses for a company in Glenpool in 1980 when I first came to Tulsa I have a lot of experience all on-the-job training. I also insulated homes in Michigan back in the late seventies.
