I'm a Northern Virginia lifestyle family & newborn photographer with over 8 years of experience. My goal is for photo sessions to feel relaxed and laid-back like I'm just a family friend with a camera. I would describe my photographic style as true-to-life, vibrants and candid-focused. During your session, I provide direction and posing help to make sure I get a mix of traditional/posed shots and candid ones. The candids are always my favorite though :)

Erin was fantastic to work with, every step of the way! She was prompt with responses, excellent at communicating, willing to work with us despite very complicated schedules and specific requests for the photoshoot, and above all, the quality of the end product was outstanding, surpassing all of our expectations. She is friendly, helpful, and a phenomenal photographer. We are absolutely thrilled with the photos we received, will treasure them forever, and Erin made the entire experience easy for us. I would highly highly recommend Erin for any photography needs!

Erin did a phenomenal job on my maternity shoot with my husband and I. I’m not one to take photos of myself (or have photos taken of me), but Erin managed to make me feel very comfortable during the shoot. I wanted to capture my first pregnancy in a special way and have photos that I can look back on forever. Erin is professional and her work exudes quality and timelessness. I highly recommend her and I would hire her again if I ever need a photographer.

Erin is a wonderful photographer, but more than that, she’s a great person! She listens to exactly what you need and delivers. Being on a shoot with her felt like we were walking through the park with a friend, who just happened to have a camera. But her photos - phenomenal! She has an eye for the best lighting and our emotions. My husband and I wanted a romantic but very informal photo shoot, but are not accustomed to PDA. So, we started out being very awkward. Erin broke us out of this shell! When we look at the photos, you cannot see even a bit of awkwardness in it. Her editing is perfect. She has her own style, and she’s the pro so we did not question it. Glad we didn’t because the photos are edited wonderfully. My request to her (on the editing front) was that she give the photos a “golden hour glow” to make our skin tones pop. She met all my requests both on the shoot and on the editing front. Love how flexible she is! One more important thing to note - Erin was wonderful with my dog. Ocean (my dog) is a little wary of strangers and Erin’s dog etiquette was absolutely perfect. That was a huge concern of mine and you can tell she has experience! I think Erin will be our “official photographer” now!

Erin was so fun during this shoot! It was really cool to be able to combine my family business with my grad photos and Erin even took some marketing style photos of some of our products while I was changing outfits that are great! I never even asked her to do that!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    My biggest piece of advice is to look through a photographer's portfolio before hiring and make sure that the type of shots and poses, the visual style and the overall vibe matches what you are looking for.
