FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When it comes to our pricing, we know that every job is different and every budget for that job is going to be different. That’s why we always provide three options to replace your roof. Plus, we don’t have a high-pressure sales process, so if only a repair is needed or requested, then we are happy to complete the repair. We do offer discounts for seniors and veterans.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know our customers and getting to know what they need help with is where we start. Identifying the issues that the customer has and identifying the customer’s goals with his or her project makes for a smooth transition through the process. The first step in the process is a brief conversation by phone or email to identify the issues and goals. That may be finding and fixing a leak, replacing an old roof, or inspecting for hail damage and wind damage. The second step is to diagnose the issue. For example, where is the leak coming from or are there any code-related issues that will need to be addressed? The third step is the estimation process. There isn’t always a one-size-fits-all type of solution for every project, so we believe offering options is the key to help to provide customers with the right solution. Customers receive multiple options to choose from so that they can access which one best suits their needs. The fourth step is the building phase. Once the customer chooses the best option that works for him/her, we will schedule the actual work. We know things can be busy, so we aim to be flexible, working around the customer’s schedule. The final and last step is payment. We strongly believe we have the skills and professionalism to get every job done properly and done right the first time. That’s why we accept no money down up front but only after the job is completed and approved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In any construction phase, there is nothing more important than on-the-job training. You can sit in a classroom or listen to a lecture, but until you get out into the field to apply what you have learned with your own hands, your expertise is limited. Real learning comes into play when you’re on a roof nailing the shingles yourself, making adjustments for the unique design of a house, or searching for a troublesome leak. That’s why we are so proud that we are a company suited with actual roofing experience at every level—from the ownership to our installers. Together, we have countless hours of hands-on roofing experience. Additionally, we do hold a Shingle Master Certification through CertainTeed that requires studying and training. We hold true to this training, and combined with on-the-job training, it makes for a good combination of solid, quality work.
