We were in need a a larger pet door to be installed in place of an old small one. It is in a difficult place & we don’t have many options. With a recently added very big dog the old one wasn’t working out. Chris was very responsive & when he arrived was helpful with deciding what our options were. He then installed the new one after laboriously taking out the old dog door. (Which he said was made to survive Armageddon! 😆).
I would definitely use Chris again!

Northstar was great! Chris came out and gave me an estimate, that was completely FREE and way sooner than I had ever expected, the estimate in my opinion was fair and honest compared to some of the others I had received for the same project. (They say get 3 so just to be thorough I scheduled 5.) He was the only one who came with covers on his feet and was wearing gloves and a mask, the entire walk through he was respectful of my home and family and very interested in making sure he understood exactly what I was wanting while offering suggestions in different ways and options that were great, in fact I was happy to choose what he had suggested because it exceeded anything I had imagined. While deciding on who to choose to complete the job Northstar stood out from the others because of how responsive they were whenever I reached out to them and were always quick to answer all my questions and return phone calls to explain things in detail and in a way I could understand , which was a nice change.
From start to finish the crew was always on time and respectful. Finished on schedule and within budget. Hands down the best I have ever done business with and will definitely hire Northstar to come back to my home and recommend others do the same.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Grew up on on jobsites. My grandfather, father, and Uncles are and were in the industry. So my younger Years were spent standing right next to them being taught by my mentors and idols.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What is the scope of work, or what it is you hope can happen? You may have no idea what needs to take place, and that's ok, all we need is what you want to accomplish with the project.Spend some time to figure out your budget, and the time frame you would like the project finished by. That is a good starting point; you will be asked plenty more questions and vice versa moving forward.
