- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We work to fixed quotes as much as possible. This means that the price quoted for the specific work proposed will not change. This provides you with predictability. We do charge for on-site estimates, but free ballpark estimates and potential budgets will be discussed prior to a site visit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We would first hope for a brief outline of your project with reference photos of similar things or areas to be repaired/remodeled via email or text message. We would also want to talk through realistic budgets to make sure expectations align with reality. Then we would set up a site meeting to talk through your ideas and make a plan from there depending on the project scope. However, we are flexible!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I (Caleb, operations manager) have worked full time in trades for around 25 years, primarily carpentry. I have done finish carpentry, exterior carpentry, and problem solving on many high-end homes. I am an expert problem solver and can often do completely new tasks at a very high efficiency level. I also have CAD skills and can design your project in an effective way to make sure that your vision is what we build.
