I am a mother of six sweet kiddos and have a blessed job of home schooling my them with my husband in Bend & Portland Oregon. Photography is my "alone time" :) on evenings and weekends to express my creativity and service those around me.
I began photography because many years ago I lost someone very close to me and when we were going through his life’s images for his memorial slide show, I was struck with how few there were. I have always been drawn to capturing special as well as mundane moments for myself and those around me but this catapulted my desire to so to new heights.
I consider it a genuine honor to contribute to forever stamping these memories somewhere concrete and that can be shared. My heart is to share the stories of the people and businesses that I work with because each one is unique and well worked for.
My goal is to always overdeliver and leave my clients feeling abundantly happy they choose to work with me.

what can I say, perfect, prefect , perfect!!!!!!
Brittany was amazing, she went above all expectations. As the bride she never took a planned picture without first making sure my make up and hair were perfect. Out of the pictures she took, not only a few were good, but all of them. This is my second wedding and I paid a much higher fee for my First wedding, and Brittany’s took so many more pictures, had original poses and listened to what everyone wanted. Brittany did a wonderful job capturing the joy of my mom’s 80th birthday celebration. She was punctual and pleasant. She gave me some tips in advance regarding colors/ outfit dos and don’ts ( which 1/2 my family didn’t follow, but that’s a different issue!). After getting all of the group pictures that we requested she stuck around to get some candid shots from the actual party. Her price was super reasonable and the pictures are priceless!

I was very pleased with the photos Brittany Hill took of my family for our 40th wedding anniversary. She took time to know our family and our preferences. We wanted outdoor shots and Brittany gave us a good list of sites to choose from. During the shoot, she photographed us using a variety of backgrounds and groupings. Within a few days, we were excitied to receive a few previews of our photos. A short time later, we received all of them and there are so many good ones to choose from for printing. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is slightly different, requiring different things so my pricing is very close to my suggested here on Thumbtack, but can be adjusted if need be at my discretion.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I require a zoom, in person, or phone call consultation with all of my clients but especially my new potential clients. I think this is the only way to talk through details and make both parties involved comfortable to have a successful project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over the past 4 years I have taken 150+ hours of online course work in addition to shadowing and learning from a successful photographer. Beyond this I am always seeking to be self taught as I continue growing in my craft because I think that is incredibly important to staying passionate and keeping up with new trends and technology in your field.
