Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Website design and re-design; Mobile web app development, mobile versions of websites; WordPress site development; SEO; graphic design for printed materials: logos, brochures, business cards, product labels, signage, letterhead, newsletter templates, and more.
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. West Design recently re-designed a website for an artist. Her existing site was okay, but didn't reflect the vibrance and color of her work--so we bumped it up a notch!
We also recently did a redesign for an interior designer. She had a DIY site but realized that it didn't reflect the quality or professional image she wanted to convey to her clients. West Design gave her a personalized site that matches her design aesthetic.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. You can get your nephew, brother-in-law, friend or neighbor to build a website for you, but chances are you won't get a professional looking site that meets your needs and budget and is delivered in a timely manner. On the other hand, you can pay thousands of dollars for features and functionality that you really don't need from a web design company that cares about the money more than they do about you and your business. West Design cares about giving you quality results at reasonable rates!
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. We're learning all the time. We've been designing websites since 1995. Considering how much the Internet has changed since that time, it is a necessity to keep up with the advances in technology by "learning something new every day."
