I recently hired Level And Plumb Construction to create custom banquette seating for my 1940 home's small kitchen nook, and I'm beyond thrilled with the result! I wanted a space to fit a full dining table for holiday gatherings with my kids, but the area was too small for even a small kitchen table. James Yunker and his business partner/lead carpenter, Tristan, suggested an L-shaped floating bench design using live-edge Douglas Fir slabs with a slight angled back, left unstained for a natural look. The craftsmanship is stunning, and it perfectly complements my vision for a cozy, country-style dining area with a full dining table and chairs. They worked diligently, kept the workspace so clean, and were a pleasure to collaborate with. I can't wait to decorate the space with curtains and wallpaper! I highly recommend Level and Plumb Construction for their creativity, vision, and professionalism! I plan on posting a photo of the finished space.

It was a pleasure working with Level and Plumb Construction. They repaired dry rot areas in multiple decks on our house. One of the best contractors I have worked with, they met all commitments, the work was high quality, and great communication during the entire project. I would gladly hire them again.

A couple elements of the deck repairs were unexpected - like uncovering further rot requiring replacement of the beam and replacement parts for the wire railing requiring a couple weeks of shipping to arrive. We so appreciate working with customers that understand that repairs require navigating unexpected challenges.   • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I offer free in person consultations. After our initial meeting, I will generate a comprehensive estimate that will allow you to understand the full scope of work and budgeting numbers for special order features like vanities (that can range quite substantially in price). With these numbers we can revisit the project, confirm any items that may be dropped or are optional due to budget constraints. Once you are satisfied with the scope of work and want to schedule the remodel project, we require a 50% deposit to secure the spot in our calendar and order materials. I will be in consistent contact with you to offer support and advice so that when we arrive you feel ready for us to begin.
