Introduction: All photographers are different. My appreciation of bright bold colors comes through, as does my sense of humor and my appreciation for children and families. The kids, the ability to get down on the floor and make them smile, the shy confidence I see in a senior after their first professional portrait, the ability to have my son at the "office", the list goes on.....

Daniel has been taking pictures for us for over a year now. He's done baby pictures and family pictures and we LOVE him! He is so easy to work with. He understands babies and kids get fussy and he is never impatient or frazzled. Which makes it so much easier for us to relax as well. He has crawled on the floor and chased our son around a park to get pictures for us. And we are NEVER disappointed! The quality of pictures are amazing and the price is fantastic! We love love love Troutman Photography. We love them so much, I keep trying to get them to move to the North Coast so I can have pictures every weekend!

Since Daniel started his business he has provided photography services for the Jefferson Mint Festival and Frog Jump. He goes above and beyond with beautiful studio portraits of our Royal Court and shows his fun and creative side with photos of event activities which included classic cars, frog jumping contests and cotton candy.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Senior portraits and children under age six are our favorites. There's a special place in our hearts (and in our studio) for babies in thier first year. We do outdoor family photography throughout the summer months, and we include pets for fundraisers for SafeHaven and in family portraits.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Talk, really talk to your photographer. If your photographer doesn't know what you want, they can't give it to you. And unlike an auto mechanic or a plumber - a photographer needs to understand the emotion you want the images to convey and how you want them to make you feel.
