I worked with Mark years ago, and I still benefit from his pedantry. He is the grammarian’s grammarian who enjoys the nuances of the written word.
Mark has a very esoteric knowledge of the writing/print industry. He inhabits a world of punctuation, fonts, leading, kerning, and whitespace. The Chicago Manual of Style may be found on his nightstand—next to the NYT Crossword Puzzle. His dog is named, Lorem Ipsum.
If I needed a manuscript proofread or some copy readied for publication, I would not hesitate to choose Mark for the task.
