FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing method is straightforward with no hidden fees! A non-refundable retainer fee is required to reserve your session, and the remaining balance is due prior to your session date. Travel outside the Portland metro area may incur an additional fee, which will be discussed beforehand.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want this to be as easy and stress-free for you as possible! After your inquiry, we'll chat about the type of session you envision. You're welcome to share some inspiration photos and tell me the kind of lighting and aesthetic you love. From there, we'll choose the date, time, and location that best bring your vision to life. Once your booking is confirmed with a signed contract and retainer, I will send you a session guide with outfit tips and helpful information to help you feel confident and prepared before your session. On the day of your session, I'll gently guide you through natural poses and prompts to help you feel comfortable, confident, and simply enjoy the experience. Afterward, I'll carefully edit your photos and deliver them in a beautiful online gallery where you can download, print, and share them for years to come.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've had some kind of camera in my hands for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I loved capturing photos and videos of the people, places, and moments that caught my attention. When I was 17, I was given my first "real" camera and began experimenting with portrait photography, asking friends and family to model for me whenever they could. As I continued practicing, I developed not only a love for taking photos but also for the creative and rewarding process of editing. Later, I had the opportunity to use my photography skills in social media roles at work, which helped me to refine both my style and technical abilities. I currently shoot with a Canon Rebel, and photography has become one of my greatest passions. There are few things I enjoy more than taking photos that celebrate life's special milestones and preserve those moments in a timeless, storytelling style. From there, I began using my camera for social media roles at work and was able to fine-tune my style and skills. I now have a Canon Rebel, and photography is one of my passions. I love taking photos that make people feel their best and capture their milestone moments in an authentic and natural, storytelling way.
