- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $30 per hour for individual sessions. If the student commits to four individual sessions, I charge $25 per hour for a total of $100 per four sessions. Each hour consists of one-on-one individualized training in one specific area.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in general science, and I decided that a meaningful and fun way to use my degree would be to meld my love of working with children with my knowledge of science and math.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find a tutor who not only has the technical background to help your child, but also has a personality that meshes with that of both you and your child. Look for somebody who is interested in forming a relationship with the whole family, and who is dedicated to increasing the degree of your child's success
