It's a pleasure to work with Joy at her healing center in LO. She's both skilled and sensitive when applying treatment. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
Tanya is such a kind and loving soul. She clearly loves her job and takes the time to make sure all of your questions are answered. Highly recommended
Irene's reflexology is wonderful. I was totally comfortable and relaxed and her service was awesome!
On our initial visit our objective was to assess my condition of health and determine the style of treatment I needed. Alexandra impressed me with three facets of her talent: the thoroughness in physically assessing my condition, the insightful questioning to bring out more information from me, her use of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to formulate a plan to not only maintain my health, but to also alleviate any issues that she found during her assessment. One of the key aspects of Alexandra's approach is how we work as a team focused on my individual health care (not a generic plan developed for most people). Alexandra is a very compassionate health care provider, and I feel lucky being in her care.
An acupuncturist who cares- I enjoyed seeing Lori for acupuncture. She was on time. She listened to my concerns and was great about checking in during the treatment. She was knowledgeable: When I stated a symptom, she knew what else would be affected - "if that hurts, then does this bother you?" Yes, how did you know that?! She did extra research and would have an article for me on my next visit. You can tell she really thinks and cares about each of her clients. Also, she did not send me home with a bag full of supplements - just one item and it really helped! I highly recommend seeing Lori!!
Kim has been so amazing. From first contact with her, it was clear she truly cares and wants to help. In practice, Kim has been a fantastic mentor and her understanding of Taoist medicine is obvious. Despite being strictly Community Acupuncture clients (versus full-rate private clients), Kim's work with my lady & me has been nothing short of miraculous. Thank you so very much, Kim & Scott, from Jamie & Brian! Hugs to both of you.
I'm Eric Grey, co-founder and Chinese medicine practitioner at Watershed Community Wellness, a clinic in Ladd's Addition, a beautiful neighborhood in close-in Southeast Portland, Oregon. As a practitioner of Chinese medicine, I have an intense passion to dig deeply into the traditions of Chinese medicine to find effective, truly holistic solutions for common health problems. I let my passion for traditional knowledge guide me in the pursuit of my passion to see people happy, healthy, and thriving. I have a particular interest and skill in the kind of chronic internal medicine problems that cause practitioners of all types of medicine to throw up their hands. Digestive problem that just won't go away? Insomnia with no particular cause? Auto-immune condition with no solid diagnosis? Endless series of colds, flus and allergy attacks that leave you winded and broken? A combination of safe, effective Chinese herbs, acupuncture and strategizing around lifestyle and diet can and will find you in a better place.
She was very attentive and saw me immediately. Was quite satisfied with my experience

RiverWest Acupuncture is a team of practitioners dedicated to changing lives. We use acupuncture and Chinese herbs to successfully treat chronic pain, auto injuries, allergies, anxiety, and much more.
Along with annual wellness exams, I offer treatment for both chronic and acute conditions using therapies such as herbal medicine, clinical nutrition, homeopathy, IV/injection therapy, scar treatments, Aroma Acupoint Therapy (TM), and various physical modalities to help restore proper function to the body. I was trained as a traditional Chinese acupuncturist, but my personalized approach uses minimal needles and mostly distal (extremity) points, that can benefit not only pain, but also systemic, mental, and emotional conditions. For your convenience, I also offer home visits. In addition to my private practice, I volunteer at Outside In as a general-care acupuncturist and a medical provider at their Transgender Clinic.
I offer acupuncture, herbal, and massage therapies, specializing in muscle injury recovery and chronic and acute pain relief. I work with each patient as an individual with unique needs. I strive not only to help the patient heal, but also endeavor to teach them how to maintain good health through self-help. I truly listen to what the patient is telling me in order to find the best way in which to be of service to them.

The healing process is unique for each person. I utilize a combination of traditional Chinese herbal medicine, Japanese acupuncture and moxibustion therapy, body work, nutrition, yoga and fitness to provide a breadth of modalities for healing in both straightforward and complex health conditions. Japanese acupuncture traditions tend to utilize more gentle techniques and smaller needles. I also practice non-inserted pediatric needling (shonishin), which also works for adults who are more sensitive to needle stimulus. In addition, I treat athletes as the official acupuncturist for University of Portland in Oregon. I enjoy working collaboratively with other health care professionals for the health of the patient.
I specialize in improving function and getting you out of pain. Massage and acupuncture are proven remedies, whether it be a musculoskeletal overuse, trauma, or degeneration. Other problems I usually see in my practice include respiratory disorders, such as asthma, sinusitis and neurological disorders, such as Bell's Palsy and headaches. With over 35 years as a licensed massage therapist and over 20 years as a licensed acupuncturist, I have a wealth of experience to make you feel better. I am a licensed massage therapist and acupuncturist, with an interdisciplinary B.A. in health and healing and dance/movement studies from Naropa University. My professional credentials include holding a master's degree from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in acupuncture and Oriental medicine. Diplomate status was conferred by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists and I also have certificates of advanced study from the World Health Organization International Acupuncture Training Center located at the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China and the Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Harbin, China. The Eastern Harbin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine named me, in 1993, as Honorary Professor of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
