Portland appliance repair guys did an awesome job assessing our dishwasher. It ultimately is unable to be repaired and needs to be replaced but their technician spent hours at our house trying to fix it and updated us along the way. We would definitely use them again!

Had a great experience with this company and their technician Alexei. He came out to look at our freezer and was able to fix a small broken part in about 30 minutes. The repair was $300, which seemed a bit expensive. Unfortunately, the freezer was still not working properly the next day, and he came early on a Sunday to troubleshoot. He quickly informed us that it would be a much bigger issue, about $800 to fix. This was not the news we wanted to hear, and we decided that we would just get a new fridge instead of trying to fix. However, they reimbursed us for the repair and only charged us for the service fee since the repair was under warranty. They were incredibly responsive and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them.

They quoted me $456 to replace the evaporator fan motor on my GE Cafe refrigerator. Its a small fan motor that takes about 10 minutes to replace without even having to pull out the fridge. I replaced one on my other fridge last year. I was out of town and needed it done. The part through GE retails for $120. I told them I wouldn't pay more than $350 for the job and they agreed to that but said I had to pay the total amount right then. I said I would pay once he was done and not to worry. The company/technician came back and said I had 10 minutes to pay once he was finished or he would tear out the fan that he installed. After I gave the go ahead to replace it, the technician had the fan installed and fixed within 3 minutes. I venmoed the company as soon as they were finished. The fridge gets cold again, hooray!. No I would not use this company again, considering my experience. $320 just for labor for a 10 minute job is really disheartening. I talked with the owner about my experience and hopefully they will make changes so that nobody has to have a similar experience in the future.
