- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2012, I became Quickbooks certified. This year I took Excel II and III classes at Portland Community College.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Most customers ask how I got started in the business of organizing and bookkeeping. It literally fell into my lap by friends who referred me to various individuals and businesses. Gradually, I found my niche and began to consult primarily with bookkeeping and organizing work.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are many levels of competency in the trade. Do not be afraid to ask your bookkeeper detailed questions or to have your accountant do so on your behalf.
