Christian, of Nitty Gritty Construction LLC, is without a doubt a highly skilled craftsman and A very pleasant gentleman to have working in our home. We hired Christian to replace a damaged tile on my kitchen floor. He knew exactly how to proceed and what needed to be done. The end result was a perfect repair!! Stellar workmanship! Christian worked on our house for 5 months to help us get it ready for sale. The outcome was beautiful! He has many skills including woodworking, tiling and grouting, sheetrock installation/mudding/sanding, wall and ceiling repair, and painting. The list can go on. His thoughtful ideas resulted in a beautiful banister handrail and railing, and transformed the wonky stairway into a lovely passageway. He goes beyond just doing the job by doing the job right. He is punctual and communicative. I can't say enough about the quality of his workmanship and the quality of his person. Christian and Buddy make a great team and we are forever grateful to them. Christian helped us out with a variety of projects around the house and did great work on everything. Some of the projects included repairing the ceiling where there had been a leak, repairing the access to the sewer clean out pipe, refinishing a cabinet door, and he did a beautiful job creating a wooden threshold for our front door. Communication was great. He talked to us about everything he was planning to do for each project. Highly recommend!

I was looking for someone to replace my prior contractor who had to quit mid full-scale kitchen remodel due to health reasons, and I was very nervous about doing so because I've been burned before by lousy hires off of other online job-boards. I hired Christian based not only on the positive things that others had to say here, but also due to the depth of his credentials, including boatbuilding. I tried him out on a couple of small jobs first. I was delighted! He's highly dependable, communicative, knowledgeable, and a bit of a perfectionist -- which is just fine with me! I feel very lucky to have found Christian. (And I didn't really want to provide this recommendation because now you'll probably want to hire him too.)

Calm clear communication. I always inform the customer of the expected processes and time line. I demonstrate how I will protect their home from dust and debris.more or less my intention is to comfort them and eran their trust.

Apprenticeship graduate in 1995. I have 30 years of on the job training.
