Introduction: I still use vinyl records. This still seems to surprise people and they always ask if they're mine. They are. I've been collecting all sorts of music on vinyl since I was a teenager and have accumulated over 4,000 records in my collection.
I love my job. I get people to let loose and express themselves in a way that's only acceptable on a dancefloor. Conversely, I can create a calming mood to fit an art gallery or a lounge setting. Overall, it's about connecting with people and creating the setting for their story.

Ian Hopper has paid me in music for his haircuts for the past 7 years and my life could not have a better soundtrack! Music is this man's purpose. I feel so proud to call him my friend and my DJ.

My wife and I were lucky to have Ian DJ our wedding. Ian was friendly and professional throughout the entire wedding. His music selection was great. He played everything we wanted to hear and more! Couldn't have been happier with the service that we were provided with on our special day. I would reccomend him to anybody looking for a DJ.

I hired Ian to DJ an art gallery opening last fall and it couldn't have been a better experience. He sat down with the showing artist and myself and we had a great discussion about art, music, and the vibe for the night. The collaboration and inclusion in his curation practice made the night a memorable one for all parties involved. I wouldn't hesitate to bring him in for future events.
