- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Mon-Fri Midday Visits: • $15/20 minute visit • $18/30 minute visit • $30/1 hour visit Additional services, such as Overnight Care, is only provided for current clients (daily dog walking contract required).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact, I set up a 'Meet & Greet' with the new client & their pet(s). I will ask basic questions concerning their pet(s). Once a contract has been agreed upon, a start date is determined & house keys will be needed. All my monthly scheduling/payments are done online. The new client will receive text updates after each walk.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a child, I wanted to work with animals in any possible way, so just out of H.S., I started working for the Anti-Cruelty Society, then Tree House cat shelter as a Veterinarian Assistant. From there, the dog walking industry was fairly new, & I was approached by someone with a startup to learn how to run my own service. 17+ years later, I'm still loving what I do!
