- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base price covers my photography time on the wedding day for weddings up to 2 hours from Portland, post production (every image is retouched), and all wedding day full sized digital images with printing rights. All digital images are delivered in both color and black and white versions. For weddings over 2 hours, an additional travel fee may be required. If your wedding is over 1 hour away from Portland, and you want me to arrive very very early or stay very late, I may request accommodation arrangements. All wedding images are also hosted to an online proof gallery for 30 days for easy sharing with friends and family.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every wedding booked includes complimentary engagement session time so that we can get to know each other before the wedding day. It helps me learn how you best respond to my direction, your best angles, we all get more comfortable working with each other, and you know what to expect on the big day so your images look more natural. Engagement sessions are scheduled for the Portland area, or I can come to you for an additional travel fee. I meet many of my couples for the very first time at their engagement session since I work with so many out of town or busy couples! But, if you're in town and you'd like to meet with me before booking, we can definitely arrange that.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Conference and Tradeshow each year to take numerous classes and seminars from the world's leading photographers, and to search for new and top of the line quality labs and publishers to work with for my products. I am also a member of the Professional Photographers of America Association where I acquire lots of supplemental education throughout the year. I have been featured in numerous print and online publications, and have won the Wedding Wire Couple's Choice Award the past 9 years for my consistent 5 star reviews. See more detail on my website.
