- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to keep things simple, so there are a basic package pricing for digital packages, a set for prints and then ala carte pricing. Most sessions begin at $150 and build depending on locations and complexity of the job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the first phone call or email I get an idea of whether we need to meet ahead of time or decide on a location. Once the details are confirmed, we have a wonderful time either for commercial, family photos, seniors, boudoirs, product shots or the wedding day!! I love telling my clients stories in images!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Doing contract work for magazines and other photographers bump the learning curve up quickly! I have picked up specialty classes along the way as well as courses at local colleges and apprenticing with a handful of different experienced photographers over the years. Attending workshops keeps the skill sets up as well, along with other areas of the business.
