Hi! I’m Shruthi, a 23-year-old, Portland-based photographer and full-time NICU nurse. When I’m not caring for the tiniest humans, I’m behind the camera capturing moments that feel honest, intimate, and full of emotion.
Photography is a way for me to slow down and tell stories through warm, dreamy, cinematic imagery. I’m drawn to natural light, genuine connection, and images that feel timeless. Whether it’s a quiet glance, a soft laugh, or an in-between moment, those are the details I love most. Everyone is welcome in my space, regardless of race, identity or who you love.

We had such a wonderful experience with Shruthi! She was incredibly patient with our toddler and handled every moment with so much calm and kindness, never rushing us and always making sure our little one felt comfortable. She was warm, friendly, and truly open to our ideas while also guiding us effortlessly throughout the session. The whole experience felt relaxed and natural. We’re so grateful for these memories and highly recommend her!

Shruthi is a seriously talented photographer in the PDX area. ✨
She shot solo portraits of me at Laurelhurst Park, and they turned out so gorgeous! Before the session, she sent over a Pinterest board for inspiratio,n and we collaborated on the direction and editing style, which made everything feel aligned.
She was on time, super friendly, and easy to work with. During the shoot, she gave great movement cues that made the photos feel natural and dynamic instead of stiff. The whole session flowed really smoothly.
I’m obsessed with how the photos turned out and would absolutely work with her again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for beautiful, thoughtfully shot portraits in Portland!

I had the BEST experience working with Shruthi. She made the entire shoot feel so easy and comfortable, and her eye for detail is unreal.
