Good Neighbor Fence came through for us! We had a difficult fence situation, but it was handled with skill. Result is a gorgeous fence and I thank the crew for their knowledge and dedication to perfection.
Good Neighbor Fence Company's reply
Thank you Gail. We appreciate the great review and the business. We certainly had a few hurdles to figure out how to get over on this one, but the end result was certainly worth it.

My fence looks nice - but I do have to say that clean up for the project wasnt the best, and one of the least attractive wooden planks (has stains of some kind) was chosen for the gate.Apparently there were a lot of rocks in the soil when they had to dig for the posts - but after the job was done, these small rocks were littered all over my lawn and not even brushed back into the holes. As for the bigger rocks - when I came out to check on the progress of the fence, I came across them dumping these rocks into the garden area next to the new fence. On top of the fact that it is a huge eye sore, they didnt let me know that they were doing this, and I had to point out that where they were dumping the rocks wasnt a good place at all. They then asked me where I wanted the rocks to go if I didnt want them to just dump them into a pile in front of my fence, and I had to quickly decide on the spot where a giant pile of rocks should go. And then the original pile of rocks was still left there. I also noticed after the job was done that there was trash left on my lawn - a giant screw (which I thankfully didnt step on with bare feet) and some building material trash. The job was done fine enough - but I now have to clean my own yard from the mess that was left, and fix the rock issue and doing my own clean up after a house project is not something I have experienced before. In addition to the fact that now every time I open my gate, the first board I look at is an eye sore.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is straightforward and transparent. Every estimate includes labor, materials, hardware, and disposal - no hidden fees. We also offer financing options and seasonal discounts. Plus, if you receive a comparable written estimate, we offer an apples-to-apples price match guarantee, ensuring you always get the best value without sacrificing quality.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a brief phone call to understand your project and schedule an on-site estimate. During the visit, we walk the property with you, review design and material options, answer questions, and follow a simple three-step in-home process: first, we make sure we’re the right fit for your project; second, we share a little about our company and how we work; and third, we provide a clear written price before we leave your home. Once the estimate is approved, we schedule your project, maintain consistent communication throughout the build, and finish with a walkthrough to ensure everything meets your expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We bring over 40 years of design and construction experience specifically in fencing and decking. Our team is trained in proper installation techniques, property layout, and structural best practices, ensuring every project is built with durability, precision, and long-lasting quality.
