FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on scope and level of involvement. Designer for a Day and Mini Design Sessions are flat-rate and ideal for focused projects or clients who need expert direction for a specific space or decision. Full-service furnishings and multi-room design involve a meaningful investment in both design fees and furnishings. After an initial consultation we provide a detailed proposal with full transparency on fees, procurement support, and next steps.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a brief phone consultation to understand your goals, timeline, and budget. If it feels like a good fit, we schedule an in-home consultation to assess the space in more detail. From there we provide a tailored proposal outlining fees, furnishings investment, and project phases. For Designer for a Day and Mini Design Sessions, the process is streamlined and moves quickly from booking to session day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at Heritage School of Interior Design in Portland and bring over twenty years of experience across design and design-adjacent fields. A decade of that was spent in commercial real estate managing tenant improvement projects and at a window coverings company, which gave me a strong foundation in construction sequencing, contractor coordination, and how design decisions play out in the real world. Clients get creative vision backed by genuine operational experience.
