- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Minimum cost for plans for an addition, remodel, basement conversion, attic conversion, or new house/structure is $3,000. Many project will cost more than this, but this is the minimum cost to draw plans for this type of project. Once we discuss your project further I can give you formal price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically discuss a project over the phone with a client. I go over the general scope of their project and give them a price to do the plans. Sometimes there may be conditions or contingencies. If the price is acceptable, I schedule to come out to the project to discuss details at which time I typically also take measurements and start the design process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the construction industry for 23 years, primarily in design of home, additions, remodels, ADUs, as well all complete exterior spaces with pools, hardscape, patio covers, plantings, etc. I also have substantial experience with the construction/installation side of this, which help immensely when doing a design.
