- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've been in the industry for nine years now. I started off apprenticing in a salon doing bridal, prom, party makeup, etc... and have slowly worked my way up. I work in store and freelance bringing you the best of both. I have a huge passion for music and fashion and find I end up doing a lot of music videos, CD covers, flyers, shows, runway shows, glamour shots, boudoir pictures, headshots, commercials, special events, parties, lessons, etc...
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your research. Voice your concerns. Share your vision/dream. See who you connect with and trust. When looking at costs think about all the prep work, communication, travel, products used and attention to detail. Discuss payment ahead of time so there are no surprises. If you have a set budget be upfront about it. Most artists I know will do their best to accommodate.
