FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will send to you designs with variations in color, scale and concept all rendered within your actual space. When you love what you see we will then talk about the production fee scaled to the piece itself. Nothing about this fee will be a mystery. I am transparent with every detail included in the price. If a scissor lift, scaffolding, weatherproof finishes or equipment, and permits are required they will be billed at cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Tell me what you want. If your vision is clear I will actively listen and design directly to the clarity of your vision. If you want to develop your vision together that is great too. I am curious by nature and have a series of questions I use to help you get very clear with what you want your new art/murals to look like, how you want your own clients/guests to feel in the space, and what you want to say to them with this art.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
You will not find another artist more obsessed with their craft than me. I have a wealth of art history knowledge that informs the core of my creative intuition. I've had the great fortune of being production assistants to Chicano/a art legends like Frank Romero and Margaret Garcia. I was also a production assistant to the equally renown artist Knowledge Bennnett. Working with these seasoned geniuses in their studios and on their own mural projects has given me the skills that one acquires towards the end of their career.
