Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I offer training directly from New York City, having graduated from the Manhattan School of Music in 2009. I can teach (and sing) in any style, and offer a unique, direct, and patient approach to singing. Covid shut down lessons in my area for quite a while, but we are starting again, with strength! I have performed on the stages of Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher, two Off-Broadway shows, and toured with hip-hop super group Deltron 3030, culminating in a Letterman Show appearance. I've also performed locally with Broadway Rose Theatre and Clackamas Repertory, and in 2019, I was a supporting role in the Netflix show Documentary Now - Season three episode three. Beginning in January 2019, I have hired teachers all around the Willamette Valley, from Salem to Seattle to teach my technique. Each teacher has studied privately with me, trained separately with an emphasis on pedagogy, and possesses a strong performance resume in whatever genre they specialize in. This has been an immediate success, as we now offer lessons as affordable as $50 per hour. We currently have three teachers total; more are presently training! I live my life to inspire, and be inspired. As I say often in lessons, I have the best job in the world. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing my students tackle their goals head on, and reach heights that they never thought possible. In hiring my talented and dedicated team, we can now spread this wildly efficient technique as far as possible.

My 18 year old son had a great experience with Jesse as his first vocal coach. They quickly connected over musical theater and my son ended up getting the lead in his high school musical this year!

Jesse is a great instructor with a prestigious background and education in singing and music in general. He knows what he's talking about. He's easy to get along and communicate with, and knows when to push you and how hard to push reach your goals. I had no music background at all and after A few lessons and his teachings, I already know I can go far in the music world. This guy is the real deal

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Prices with Jesse are $80 per each individual hour lesson, or $70 per if you pay monthly ($280 for 4). Clients paying monthly will be responsible for setting up make-ups for lessons that they cancel with 24 hours notice, and after the first payment, will pay every 4th lesson. No need to make up for major holiday weeks, unless desired. For half-hours, it works the same way, but for $45 individual / $40 ($160 for 4) monthly. Lessons canceled under 24 hours will be charged. No refunds. Other AAS teachers have the same guidelines, but range from $40 - $70 per hour.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We'll start with a free phone consultation, to decide which teacher will be the best fit. The first lesson will begin with a system of exercises that I’ve culled and developed over the years, focusing on breathing, release of tension, and mixture of head and chest voices. From there, we work on whatever music you choose. The technique goes hand in hand with any style of singing. All Coaches use the same structure.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Jesse - Bachelor of Music-Vocal Performance Manhattan School of Music 2009.
