The Playful Pet-Sitter, Michelle, has been a lifesaver to me and my cat, Timmie, when I travel. She is 100 percent reliable. Michelle communicates fully, sending pictures and updates. My shy cat loves only three people in the world, and she is one of them! She gained his trust through her kind ways and patience. Michelle goes above and beyond. I come home to a clean pet area and happy cat every time. Michelle has been our pet sitter for over a year. She’s reliable, trustworthy, and great with cats. I appreciate how Michelle sends me photo or video updates of my cat every visit. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor’s degree from Portland State University where I took several life sciences courses. I’ve been administering oral medications including insulin shots for over 25 years. My first job was at a veterinary clinic in Tigard, Oregon! I’m also bonded and insured and carry and active membership with Pet-Sitters International.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started pet-sitting as a hobby in my twenties. It soon became a life long passion!

I’ve worked with a diverse demographic of clientele who all cherish their special animals.
