Handy Yaryk came to my home and did a wonderful job in my bathroom replacing the vanity, shower panels and did some upgrading in plumbing in the bathroom under the vanity and shower. Handy Yaryk also patched a small dent in the hallway wall. Then he also replaced the old metal vent in the hallway used for heat back in the 1950's with solid wood. Yaryk also cleaned up after every job he did. We will be using him again for any job I have. Yaryk is very talented , and precise at any job he does. If you want a great Handyman this is your GUY !!! This guy was amazing! He worked so quickly that he was sweating in our cool house. He took care to not damage anything. Friendly and personable. We had him take apart two IKEA bookcases that were nearly 30 years old, move them downstairs (they were too big to go down assembled) and put them back together. This was my first time using Thumbtack as well as this handyman. I was a little anxious, but everything went far better than I expected.

Excellent problem solver. We had a huge 81"x63" that needed to be hung in our 2nd story stairwell, curtain rod hung above vertical blinds that he fixed, a defibrillator box hung on a wall, a broken bifold door repaired and rehung and a recessed light replaced. He did it all in 3 1/2 hours. We will have him return to do some drywall repair and reinstall a towel bar. I'm sold, he will be my handyman to call when I have a problem I can't fix.

Yaryk was extremely professional and did a great job on a janky drawer in our kitchen. He went above and beyond by fixing a second drawer that also had issues. He was punctual, respectful, and explained his work and what we may want to do in the future with a more permanent fix. We will definitely contact him again if we have more handyman needs. I appreciated hearing his backstory too. He is a recent immigrant from the Ukraine and was in a completely different line of work there! He’s fluent in Polish, Russian, and German and built his home in Ukraine on his own, so is very comfortable with home jobs/tasks.
