Carrie-Ann's work is dazzling and original, and securing the painting I bought -- "Space Easter" -- couldn't have been easier. I sent my payment via PayPal, half upfront and half on delivery, and as soon as the varnish on it was dry, it was shipped. The painting arrived promptly, safely and packaged securely... and I was pleasantly surprised by how much more vivid the colors and textures were than they appeared on the original scans I saw. My painting is lovely at a glance, but I've been consistently impressed by its density; it stands up to familiarity and always gives me some new detail or insight to ponder. I would not be at all surprised if the work of Carrie-Ann Mohr transcends pleasure to become a good investment.

Carrie-Ann is an extremely gifted artist world class in my opinion. She has a wonderful flair for the absurd, and at times her work is quirky but then I like quirky Her specialty though, at least for me, is the faces she paints they are expressive and beautifully done. Ive purchased two of her original paintings to date, Icelandic Hill People and Maiya I and Im actually in the process of buying a third. The two paintings Ive gotten so far were packaged securely and arrived safely. I highly recommend her work. She will not disappoint you.

I recently purchased "Red Maiya" from Carrie-Ann. It arrived within a couple of days and now hangs in a place of pride. Her art has an uncanny quality that captures not only the surface beauty of her subjects, but something otherworldly as well. I hope to purchase more of Carrie-Ann's works in the future.

I am very pleased with my print of RED MAIYA. The quality is outstanding, and the color vivid and clear. My order was professionally packaged and arrived several days after I ordered it. I can only hope that this up and comming artist offers more of her work in a print format, at least until I can commission her for an original of my own!! Beautiful. Professional. Courteous. A+++

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For commissions, I ask $250 in advance, and $600 (including shipping and handling) due on delivery. Installments are negotiable.The paintings are lovingly and securely bubble wrapped within a Large USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box. Shipping time is 2-3 business days in the US. PayPal, please.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've known from early childhood on that I was an artist; that I was meant to find a way to capture sunlight shining down through the leaves onto faces, water, other beings, and their doings, real - and/or imagined.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I take a photograph or concept (introduced or self-generating), and run with it, creating something that is faithful to the original, yet wholly independent of it.
