I am fairly experienced with therapy, and sometimes it takes a bit of "shopping around" before you find a good fit. Not so with TJ; my wife and I felt so lucky to find him on our first try for couples counseling! We scheduled with TJ when we were having more frequent fights, and we were looking for a a queer friendly counselor. He was extremely professional and kind, and made us feel comfortable and able to open up. He encouraged us to look deeply at and work through some of the loops we can get stuck on as a couple. His counseling sessions and reading suggestions have strengthened our bond, and we will always keep him in mind should we ever need another tune up! ;) --M + K

Rich performed my wedding on September 20,2013 and as any other wedding day things went smoothly. At the beginning of the wedding my grandmother was late on getting to the church. I spoke with Rich and he delayed the start of the wedding for about 1 20 minutes. Although they didn't get there on a sad part the service was about 45 minutes total. The overall experience was excellent ,and Rich has a closer connection with couples who are younger offering advice and guidance through this exciting time in your life. If you are looking to get married , I would definitely recommend Rich Jones as your minister because of the professional job as a minister he conducts the wedding in ,the friendship before and after the wedding is done. Not only does he feel God has sent him there for your special day,but he knows what's at stake the start of a new couple being together as God ordained it.

What I appreciate about Anya is her commitment to authenticity, being present for hard things, and staying connected with herself while assisting others in their healing. I have experienced my own healing while participating in several of her counseling modalities, from group work, sand tray therapy, art thearpy, and personal talk therapy. She is resourceful, reliable, and compassionate. Warmly, Terri

It was a blessing in disguise to find Eric at waterlily weddings! After the officiant who was originally suppose to preform our ceremony didn't show at the rehearsal I had two days to find someone! Eric called me back immediately and was so sympathetic to my story and said he would be more than willing to help me out for my wedding in such short notice! He took action and even performed the ceremony I had planned with the original officiant. The ceremony was so magical and I didn't even think about the horrible experience that happened before hand all thanks to him!

Have been meeting with Olivia for approximately 6 years. She is an excellent listener and facilitator. Olivia has great insights and has developed a plan that has enriched our lives as a couple. We have gone several years between meetings and then when we "get stuck" she helps us to move to places we never thought were possible. She worked together and separately with my wife and I to devise a plan that makes us our relationship deeper and more enriched than we first met. I would gladly recommend her to individuals or couples.

An indigenous sound healer, Rev. Denise Hylton has completed training in Acutonics Sound Healing and the Kita Sound Healing systems, which utilize indigenous sound-healing tools to assist individuals with personal transformation. Vibrational sound therapy is a powerful, deeply transformational, and non-invasive healing treatment that incorporates sound and vibration to re-harmonize and attune the human energy field to achieve optimal health, actualization, and wholeness. Using harmonically attuned Tibetan singing bowls, hand chimes, bells, and calibrated tuning forks, sound is applied to acupuncture, acupressure, and trigger points to access the body’s meridian and musculature skeletal system. Sound healing has profound results in treating chronic and debilitating conditions, as well as in helping to balance emotional and physical well-being. She is an intuitive practitioner of the Integrated Awareness Technique, a Reiki master, and certified in acutonics, hypnotherapy, past life regression, and LaStone Therapy. Her skills in integrative therapy, psycho-spiritual counseling, and personal development have afforded her the opportunity to serve diverse communities. My goal is to enable everyone to experience the benefits of sound healing. I have provided sound services and workshops at several health and wellness centers, including the American Cancer Society and YMCA. I specialize in working with individuals with cancer, emotional issues, chronic diseases, autism, and special populations.

My goal as a therapist is to create a safe space that honors the brave and difficult decision to seek therapy, and provides individuals with a place where they feel supported and encouraged to discuss any and all hopes, dreams, concerns and struggles. I focus primarily on family dynamics, drug and alcohol use, as well as trauma. However, I believe that people are not defined by any one aspect of their lives. We are all complicated, with problems and strengths, histories and futures, so I believe in treating everyone as a whole person. No topics are off-limits. Because I respect my clients, I take a collaborative approach. This means that my clients and I work together to identify their unique goals and to maintain open communication about how the process is affecting their day-to-day lives. Additionally, I am interested in the impact that physical health has on our mental health and I always encourage discussion about how taking better care of our bodies can allow us to take better care of our emotional needs.

In life, we're surrounded by opinions, mostly subjective and filled with bias. There's something refreshing and enlightening about an objective, nonjudgmental listening ear, especially in situations where our words and decisions carry great weight. In life, there are clinicians, therapists, and other professionals who focus on diagnoses. Because of this, one of the most powerful and helpful resources in life are true friends because friends listen, give objective opinions, and sometimes tell you the hard stuff you do not want to hear even though you need to hear it--but only when given permission, and I think that's called tough love. For the past five years, I've been searching for a way to give back to others. I have also found that true friendships are hard to come by. With social media and our changing society, friends are even rarer than ever. I'm here to help people solve their own problems and find their own solutions through compassion, seeing the best in others, showing respect, and ultimately, leading lives filled with balance, love and constant growth. If you or a loved one is looking for a friend, a listening ear who gives advice and opinion (in an honest yet respectful way) only when asked, shoot me a note. I'd love to hear from you.

It takes courage to seek therapy. This is one of the main reasons that so many people go through life, suffering from psychological pain. A pain that is as real and exhausting as a physical wound. Opening up to a stranger, trusting someone with your deepest thoughts and emotions can be frightening. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe space that honors this brave and difficult decision and provides individuals with a place where they feel supported and encouraged to discuss any and all hopes, dreams, concerns and struggles. I believe that people are not defined by any one aspect of their lives. We are all complicated, with problems & strengths, histories & futures, so I believe in treating everyone as a whole person.

If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues or need assistance processing a transition I can help. It is a common experience to feel stuck during some point of our self-evolution. We may disconnect from people and interests we once loved, find it difficult to focus and organize thoughts or be frequently irritable. Being immersed in our problems can be tiresome and lonely, causing life to feel unmanageable. Being in this position does not mean that there is something innately wrong with the person that you are or that you have gone “crazy”. It is a natural part of our human process and there are many options to evoke positive change and lead a more fulfilling life. In seeking support, you are taking a courageous step. During such a pivotal moment, I will greet you exactly where you are without judgment. I will not impose my views or take an “expert” perspective. I believe you are the expert in your own life and our collaboration is essential in the therapeutic process. This relationship is powerful and will encourage emotional healing, compassion, awareness and self-love through trust, acceptance and empathy. I will listen deeply with intention, honor your uniqueness and work towards understanding so therapy can suit your distinctive personality & lifestyle. I will offer guidance in exploring difficult topics that overcast your life so you can uncover confidence & light that already live within you. You are deserving of the life that you want to live. As a trained Marriage and Family therapist I am trained to support individuals, families, and couples. I view issues systemically and holistically, addressing the root of what maintains persistent problems in their entirety and ensuring that healing transpires throughout the whole person and their relationships. I also utilize strengths-based and mindfulness approaches to reduce stress while improving mood, focus, self-regulation and overall well-being. Family Therapy Families go through many transitions (i.e. marriage, separation, death, birth of a child, children leaving the home). It is not uncommon for a family to find it challenging to communicate in a way that allows them to reach both their mutual and individual goals. It is worrying and frustrating for family members who are having difficulty understanding the emotions or behaviors of someone they love. It is especially difficult because the negative emotions or behaviors of one family member are influential on the health of all of its members. Fortunately, in this same way, new positive patterns and behaviors can encourage the entire family to improve communication, intimacy, love and compassion for one another. Having the entire family in session together can ensure that everyone is equally engaged in learning skills to improve communication, emotional regulation and create shared meaning so the family can grow as a significant whole. Children and Adolescents Children’s ability to express verbally is often limited by their location in development and they may often find that they are more comfortable with more physical forms of expression. In order to provide a gateway for children to communicate, I use alternative methods of communication mindfulness-based play, art and creative-expression techniques. This will allow the child to be involved in the family in a new and encouraging way that feels safer for them. Using verbal and non-verbal mindfulness-based techniques can reduce depression and anxiety while improving focus, self-efficacy, self-esteem, emotional control and relationships for your child or teen. *ChildLight Yoga Certified*
