Introduction: We are very well known in the area. We are not just Djs we are also event planners. Gene has been in music industry over 20 years as a ballroom dance instructor, we give a complimentary dance lesson with all wedding packages 695, 895, 1145 & 1495. We feel like we have done our job as a DJ if we have a packed dance floor most of the night. We take pride in our business and what we do. Our goal is to make your event something your guests will have fun at and remember us.

What an AWFUL experience with dancing djs of Altoona!!! I would NOT recommend them to anyone.. To start off right after dinner the dj decided to cut off some ppl from drinking (which I didn't know a dj also doubled as a bartender knowing how much they had to drink) then as a "professional" multiple guests heard him say the "f" word.. Very classy! Then to top it off for being a dj he took zero requests.. It was awful! I would imagine these ppl do not do a lot of wedding or parties if u can't handle ppl drinking around u and requesting songs this probably SHOULDNT be your line of work!!

He didn't make the decision to cut them off only a bartender or owner of establishment can make that decision. We never used vulgar language never had or never will we r professionals. It was the parents that were using vulgar language telling me to shut the f****** music off when I played the very first country dinner music song what bride n groom chose and whw n we played country slow songs for dollar dance. The mother stood up screaming loudly oh no get this f***** stuff off get the lalala la on which is bridal polka which bride did not want. Bride ended up crying n you told me they can't get shut off they need to get drinks or cops will be involved. The mothert told is rudely to get out, threatened to unplug equipment n almost spilled her drinks on our laptop. The dad came over with hands up to choke Gene he then got escorted out. The reason no requests because that was bride n grooms request to not accept request it was their wedding day n they wanted what music they wanted. At the end wed were told by many guests n bridal party we did a good job n sorry we had to experience what we did. She was an alcoholic n had been drinking since 7am. This is all the TRUTH!!!!

I just want to say thank you so much to Dancing DJ's Debbie White and Gene Kleiser for providing excellent DJ services for my wedding! They were the best, kept everyone dancing and helped to keep everything running smoothly! We invested into their dance lessons for our first dance and was worth every penny! The dance lessons were so much fun and Gene Kleiser was amazing at helping teach us the moves for two people that can't dance. lol Thank you again guys for helping make our night the best!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Parties are $75 an hr..3 hr minimum Weddings we have 4 packages available to choose from: Basic $695 for 4 hrs..$100 for any additional hrs. Cinderella $895 for 5 hrs..$100 for any additional hrs. Cinderella Deluxe $1145 (12) uplights for half room setup and up to 6 hrs for reception Cinderella Deluxe & Prince Charming same as Cinderella Deluxe only 24 uplights (full room) and a personalized monogram Charge $1 a mile for any miles over 50 miles (will travel anywhere if we are available)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to setup a no obligation consult to discuss their reception plans, give ideas and paperwork to bring back completed for final meeting when they also do their complimentary dance. If this is not possible because they live out of the area we can do a phone consult, or a FaceTime.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly keeping up with the new music. We buy our music from 3 different sources and we also get clean versions if available. Gene has been in the music industry for over 20 years as a Ballroom Dance Instuctor and is versed in all genres of music, so he knows how to play a crowd.
