Introduction: We offer the following services:
* Cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met
* Cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers
* Emptying wastebaskets, emptying and cleaning ashtrays, and transporting other trash and waste to disposal areas
* Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and/or polishing floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines
* Dusting and polishing furniture and equipment
* Keeping storage areas and carts well stocked, clean, and tidy
* Polishing silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings
* Removing debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool areas
* Replacing light bulbs
* Replenishing supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items
* Sorting clothing and other articles, loading washing machines, and ironing and folding dried items
* Sorting, counting and marking clean linens, and storing them in linen closets
* Washing windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary
* Assigning duties to other staff and giving instructions regarding work methods and routines
* Requesting repair services and waiting for repair workers to arrive
* Delivering television sets, ironing boards, baby cribs, and rollaway beds to guests' rooms
* Disinfecting equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers
* Hanging draperies and dusting window blinds
* Moving and arranging furniture and turn mattresses
* Observing precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and reporting damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors
* Planning menus and cooking and serving meals and refreshments following employer's instructions or own methods
* Preparing rooms for meetings and arranging decorations, media equipment, and furniture for social or business functions
* Taking care of pets by grooming, exercising, and/or feeding them
* Washing dishes and cleaning kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware
* Answering telephones and doorbells
* Caring for children and/or elderly persons by overseeing their activities, providing companionship, and assisting them with dressing, bathing, eating, and other needs
* Carrying linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts
* Purchasing or ordering groceries and household supplies to keep kitchens stocked and recording expenditures
* Running errands such as taking laundry to the cleaners and buying groceries
