- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sessions are only provided if payments are provided upfront. A $25 cancellation fee will be charged for lessons that are skipped or cancelled fewer than 12 hours in advance. The fee for the second or third child from the same home will be reduced by at least $10 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we text to set up a free Zoom consultation when you will share your goals for tutoring. Also, I will assess the student and provide recommendations. Next, we schedule services to proceed according to the child’s needs and interests. Finally, you sit back and enjoy the fruits of the collaboration. Your child thrives as a reader and writer, and we all smile and enjoy a sense of accomplishment! I for one look forward to that day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master’ in Elementary Education and master’s in Reading K-12 with a 4.0 GPA. I’ve taken extensive coursework on the Science of Reading and the latest research in best practices for teaching all components of reading and writing.
