his quote was great, the work so far is wonderful. The job still has a couple steps to go, but what I see so far works for me.

I wanted to give this landscaper a chance and I was hoping to grow his business. After seeing the work done, more specifically mess left for my wife and I, I would not recommend. I'll start with the basics, communication was poor and lacking. Coordinating a date for service was drawn out and often delayed. I know weather plays a factor but a courtesy call or email to let us know we were in queue would have done wonders. After several failed attempts to start this project, we were finally able to begin. Unfortunately i was required to be out of town during a bulk of the work. We had family update and track the progress during our absence. What was left, to our disappointment and disgust, was an uneven, foul smelling, stagnating ponds that extended from our back to front yard, traveling down the entire lateral side of our home. Most upsetting was what our discussion entailed prior to the beginning of this work. First, the drain was to extend across the entirety of our backyard. In reality, it is short 5 feet. Second, we were told that the work site would be made level and acceptable. As the photos show, the dirt was simply pushed over in a hurried fashion. Third, our fence was damaged during entry to the back yard. It is bent and uneven. Lastly, grass seed was to be sewn over the dig site. What was spread amounted to a small, localized region in the back yard, barely covering the mess. Mind you, this work extends to our front yard- 175 feet total. My thoughts are this- I would never hire this professional again. Additionally I question if this professional has installed many drains. If so, then this was either and incredibly sloppy and hurried job or this professional grossly underestimated the work involved with the drains. I cannot state how upset we are with the end result. We will now be forced to find another landscaper who can level and plane the mess left. While our drains show minimal water flow, the mess left by this individual is inexcusable and completely unprofessional. Don't waste your time and find someone else.
