After a while of looking for a suitable drum/percussion teacher, we are so happy to find Greg on Thumbtack. Online lessons were not our first priority but we have changed our minds when we met Greg. Greg is an enthusiastic musician and teacher with a lot of passion & knowledge. He is a very well-organized teacher, he manages how to communicate and teach professionally online. Highly recommend any skill level percussionists should consider taking lessons with Greg.

Details: 10 - 13 years old • 2 - 4 yrs of formal training • Can read percussion notation • Can read sheet music • Snare drum • What the teacher recommends • Yes, the student already has drums • 30 minutes • Remotely (phone or internet)

We’ve had a great experience so far. My son is really shy and and Greg has been able to inspire and encourage him not only to chat and hold conversations, but to practice and learn to really enjoy playing the drums. He’s enjoyed lessons with Greg so much! I’m impressed by how quickly he responds to my questions and emails, how upbeat and excited he is about teaching, and how patient he has been as my son has begun his journey of learning to play the drums. Highly recommend!

My 10 year old son loves taking drum lessons with Greg. We were hesitant of how well this would work via Zoom but the entire experience has been fantastic. He is patient, professional, structured, encouraging and completely motivates my son to want to improve every week. He sends videos of homework to work on during the week and makes it both easy and fun to follow. We would absolutely recommend Greg to anyone interested in taking drum lessons.
