Al was very responsive from my first inquiry. He was able to provide an estimate based on the pictures that I attached and the estimate ended up being right on. He communicated well, got here in a matter of days, and knocked the job out quickly. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and I will be happy to have him do work for us any time. Thanks!

Al was great. We needed plywood shelves installed for our pantry in the basement and the closet was not an exact square. Al took his time to measure and cut the shelves precisely so the pantry had a good neat look. Will definitely reach out for future carpentry or other needs.

Details: Basement • 1-5 • No, my cabinets are already assembled • I need help choosing cabinets to purchase • No existing cabinets to remove or I will remove them myself • Residential

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

General handyman 2 hour minimum (Except plumbing and electrical) Electrical /Plumbing i.e. Faucets , wiring etc 125 an hour plus materials General tasks varied 75 per Hour half day rate 4 hrs 250 full day 8 hours 500 If no plumbing or electrical components 675 if needed. • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I review the project with them, give them suggestion on other ways it might be done which can save them money but not sacrifice quality My initial goal is to have clear understandings, be reliable and show the quality of work within the scope of the project at hand. I try to make sure they understand what to expect I like to get a clear picture of what is wanted and then to talk about time frames, costs etc and if applicable sketch what a project will look like if needed so there is a good understanding between us. I am looking to have them hire me again and be their go-to guy for such things going forward. I do what I say and say what I do - few surprises when working with me.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Took wood working shop for 4 years with a master craftsman in my younger years. When I bought a two family house ..gutted it and converted it to a 3 family house with garden and lots of beauty. Worked with a few professionals as well. I am always trying to learn how to do things better for myself and those I work with.
