Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: We are the most experienced glass block company in N.W. Pa and everyone in the company has been personally trained by Louis Bruno who has work solely in glass block for almost 20 years. We look at ways to solve problems people are having not just how to fit a window into a hole but how to make that window perform exceptionally with minimal maintenance from the consumer. I like to start a job with the end results being our focus. "We do not take short cuts because we are in this for the long haul." That we create and build windows that in most case will out live my self. its is a great feeling to drive by a home and see windows that we made and installed in like 1993 that are still providing the customer with Privacy , Beauty and Security. Also energy efficiency and enhanced waterproofing .

Lou Bruno designed and installed a beautiful stand-alone shower from glass blocks, after first installing two huge glass block windows in our bathroom. The bathroom now has lots of natural light, with no window treatments. The room has a WOW factor, that gives one the feel of being in a spa! We absolutely love it. Lou and his crew also changed over some traditional style basement windows to glass block. They were all wonderful improvements to our home that was built in 1860.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask these simple question. Are you Licensed to work in the state or municipality the job is located in? Do you have the Required training to perform lead safe work practices as required by The E.P.A. ? What kind of block do you use? Do you use cement to make your windows or do you glue them together like the big chain stores do? { Note : silicone windows do not meet any building codes in North America} Another good question is do you have a place of business such as an office or show room or warehouse? And last but not least do they have employees or do they hire subcontractors to perform the installations. These questions should be asked for any kind of home improvement.
