I ordered table cloths and overlays from Simply Unique Weddings & Events for my wedding reception. Mary is super sweet and works hard to make your event perfect. She is a very busy lady, and for good reason, but it is important to give yourself plenty of wiggle room as she is working with numerous brides at a time. I contacted her a year before my event and she worked hard to answer all of my questions in a timely manner. My only regret was that we didn't finalize my order sooner so I could pick it up a few days before the event. The order didn't come in until Friday afternoon (the day before the event). Mary did whatever she had to do to get the order to me but it was very difficult as I was already at rehearsal and hard to reach. Overall, everything went well and the linens looked awesome! They added so much character to my wedding and I would do it all again!Jan 12, 2015

I used Mary's services for chair cover and sash rental as well as her candy buffet for my wedding in July. She had a whole team that came and decorated everything beautifully for my reception. The chair covers really upped the elegance factor and the candy buffet was perfect. It earned tons of compliments. - How did you get started doing this type of work?Started off working at a convention center as an event assistant overseeing lots of weddings, parties, corporate events and etc. This is where lots of experiences were gained but wanted to focus more on weddings, parties, & decorating...so here we are today!
- What types of customers have you worked with?We have worked with all types of customers and we don't discriminate! And the great thing is, we always tend find something in common with just about everyone! :)
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?When looking for a Wedding Coordinator or Decorator, you need to hire someone with experience. Too many people hire someone with the lowest quote opposed to someone with experience and someone who can help turn your idea into a reality. A Coordinator should be someone you feel comfortable with and can be yourself around. Another tip is to hire someone that does this full time oppose to having another full time job, that way your wedding or event becomes top priority!
