FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My initial visit is usually $100. It depends on travel time. Then I can either work hourly or on a cost plus basis, depending on whether we are doing custom design work, purchasing upholstery and case pieces, or accessorizing. Recently I’ve been doing a great deal with Wayfair’s Pro site remotely, and just charge by the hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by talking by phone, then looking at the space. We exchange project information and spin new ideas. This is where we mesh and have fun because I am very creative. I do space planning on site. We decide on a timeframe and a budget, then I deliver creative solutions for your own unique situation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A degree from IUP with a focus in Interior Design and housing. Many design seminars and further Interior Design coursework at WVU. Im continuously reading, popping into antique shops, and attend the international home furnishings markets.
