- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each job is different. I charge $50 to make the first trip and we decide based on the scope of the work how to best proceed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meeting at their home is the best place to start. We can discuss the space and their ideas, then I share my experience and vision to accomplish the total look that they want to achieve-comfortable, beautiful, functional living space.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
4 year degree with a Housing concentrate, many design and window treatment seminars, 30 years of working with clients in their homes on my own and in a retail design center-i.e. Ethan Allen, Levin etc. While my children were at home I was a textiles workroom primarily home textiles and bridal alterations. I'm creative. And I love my work and my clients.
