Valerie Scott

Valerie Scott's piano lessons focus on individual instruction for adults and children. I'm patient, an experienced teacher, classically trained and oriented but will embrace all styles. I really enjoy working with children and am very understanding and supportive of adults who are learning for the first time or who have decided to return after many years. I am very knowledgeable in both music history and theory, so that you will not only learn the "how to's" but also the "why's" thus, affording you a well-rounded musical experience at the keyboard. I studied music at both Queens College and Marywood University and privately, with two concert pianists. Awaken the musical genius in you or someone you love! I offer very reasonable rates.
