- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
1. What specifically do I need built? 2. What is the make and model number so the professional knows exactly what needs to be built? 3.what is their skill worth to me? Meaning, what am I willing to pay to avoid spending all day building a piece of furniture. I liken it to taxes. I pay my accountant a very good rate because if I did my own taxes it would take a while and I probably wouldn't get it right. 4. Is cheaper always better? There are exceptions, but most service provider who underbid are either inexperienced or will be in a hurry to get the job done. If the furniture is damaged it creates a real hassle for you the owner of the furniture.
