FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in junk removal out of a mix of opportunity and hands-on work experience. I was looking for a job where I could stay active, work outdoors, and see immediate results from my effort. I began helping with small cleanouts and pickups, learning how to safely load, sort, and dispose of different types of materials. Over time, I realized there was a strong demand for reliable and efficient junk removal services, especially for homeowners and businesses who needed quick turnarounds. I built my skills through experience—learning how to work efficiently, handle heavy items safely, and provide good customer service. What started as simple helping-out jobs gradually turned into a consistent service I offer, and now I take pride in helping people clear out their spaces and make their environments more usable and stress-free.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One project I’m particularly fond of was a full garage cleanout for a homeowner who had accumulated years of unused items and debris. The space was completely packed, making it difficult for them to even walk through it. We carefully sorted everything, removed all the unwanted junk, and ensured recyclable materials were handled properly. By the end of the job, the garage was completely cleared and usable again, which made a big difference for the client. The entire project took about one full day to complete, including loading, hauling, and disposal. It was very rewarding to see the transformation and the customer’s satisfaction once the job was done.
